About the role
- The Annuity Operations Specialist is responsible for managing day to day operations for our annuity team. This role involves providing accurate and timely service to our members and their offices on incoming and outgoing phone calls/emails related to New Business applications for multiple product lines. Process New Business applications that are submitted using multiple systems and respond to inquiries in a timely manner. Provide excellent customer service via telephone or email handling New Business policy inquiries. Process applications and corresponding paperwork and document any outstanding requirements.
What you'll do
- Weekly Member Updates
- Process new applications that are submitted.
- Follow up on pending business.
- Serve as point of contact between member firms and carrier partners.
- Answer incoming calls and emails from members and carriers.
- Problem solve member issues.
- Conduct IT support for Triad Portal and Firelight.
- Troubleshoot member's IT needs for Firelight.
- Obtain log in information for members.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- 3 years experience in financial services, preferably FMO/IMO experience
- Experience with Annuities
- Customer service oriented
- Comfortable working independently
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to frequent change
- Future focus mindset
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong problem solving skills
