What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Loan Coordinator/FT Onsite/ Nashua position at Triangle Credit Union?
The Commercial Loan Coordinator supports the commercial lending team by facilitating the loan process from origination to closing. This role ensures accurate documentation, compliance with regulatory standards, and efficient communication between internal departments, lenders, and clients.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Assists other employees with information regarding commercial business products and services. Trains new staff members as needed in available commercial products and services. Supports the branches and members with inbound/outbound calls, coordinates schedules for department loan closings, addresses member concerns or questions in a timely manner. Makes initial collection calls on delinquent accounts.
Input and update loan information in the lending system and maintain accurate records. Assist with loan files, monitoring titles, Mortgages, UCC filings and Tax Escrows.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience
Three years to five years of similar or related experience. Strong knowledge of commercial loan documentation, procedures, and regulations (e.g., UCC, SBA, real estate)
Education
(1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
Interpersonal Skills
Work involves contact with persons beyond immediate associates regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (members or vendors), requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information.
Other Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with loan processing systems (e.g., Fiserv or Jack Henry) is a plus. Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds, ability to bend and reach.
