- Answer phone calls promptly, utilizing excellent phone etiquette to assist with inquiries and appointment scheduling.
- Maintain patient records accurately, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
- Process medical collections and handle billing inquiries efficiently.
- Utilize dental office software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft for scheduling and record management.
- Assist with clerical duties including filing, data entry, and correspondence.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Stay updated on medical terminology and coding practices to facilitate accurate documentation.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction.
- Proficiency in using phone systems and managing multiple lines effectively.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and coding practices is preferred.
- Experience in medical collection processes is advantageous.
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is a plus.
