Triangle Grading and Paving, Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Pipe Foreman to join our dynamic team.
Job Description
Provides on-site leadership for pipe operations on a single project; including water, sewer and storm drain installation. The pipe foreman leads a crew with multiple tasks, can read and interpret plans, and can lay out/plan materials to successfully and efficiently install underground piping. The pipe foreman communicates and cooperates with grading foreman and project superintendent to ensure work is done in the most effective and profitable manner.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and organize people, equipment, tools and materials to promote the safe, efficient and timely construction of the project.
- Ensure that construction equipment is correctly operated and maintained.
- Utilizes heavy equipment to excavate, install and backfill drainage pipe.
- Observes assigned equipment to detect machinery malfunctions. Assures the proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Follows the project construction process to ensure that work is completed on time.
- Direct oversight responsibility of time sheets for labor and equipment as well as daily reports complete with quantities worked.
- Enforces all company safety policies and procedures.
Job Requirements:
- 3 years of construction experience.
- 3 years of experience as a Pipe Foreman.
- Physical ability to perform assigned tasks.
- Knowledge of pipe laying for water mains, sanitary sewers, storm sewer, and reading and understanding plans and specifications.
- General knowledge of Heavy Equipment operations and maintenance.
- Must be able to pass drug screening.
