Job Description
The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for performing inspection and quality control activities to support the on-time delivery and quality objectives of the manufacturing groups. This role involves adhering to the Quality Management System, government regulations, and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform first-piece, receiving, and final inspection activities according to the Inspection Plan, utilizing basic and advanced measurement equipment.
- Provide accurate and complete documentation, adhering to Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and review documentation received from others to ensure GDP compliance.
- Ensure gages used are in good condition, calibrated, and maintained in the GageTrak database, and assist production associates with GageTrak as needed.
- Provide one-on-one inspection technique or inspection equipment training to production associates to improve competency.
- Sustain housekeeping and 5S efforts in the Inspection areas and perform preventive maintenance on measuring equipment.
- Support the implementation of quality control team and/or management process improvements and standardization.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of 2 years' experience and/or training in mechanical and visual inspection, preferably within a regulated industry.
- PC navigation and MS Word experience.
- Capable of reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Experience in using standard measuring tools and equipment.
- Accurate, detail-oriented, and organized.
- Good verbal and written communications skills.
