Job Description

The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for performing inspection and quality control activities to support the on-time delivery and quality objectives of the manufacturing groups. This role involves adhering to the Quality Management System, government regulations, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform first-piece, receiving, and final inspection activities according to the Inspection Plan, utilizing basic and advanced measurement equipment.
• Provide accurate and complete documentation, adhering to Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and review documentation received from others to ensure GDP compliance.
• Ensure gages used are in good condition, calibrated, and maintained in the GageTrak database, and assist production associates with GageTrak as needed.
• Provide one-on-one inspection technique or inspection equipment training to production associates to improve competency.
• Sustain housekeeping and 5S efforts in the Inspection areas and perform preventive maintenance on measuring equipment.
• Support the implementation of quality control team and/or management process improvements and standardization.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of 2 years' experience and/or training in mechanical and visual inspection, preferably within a regulated industry.
• PC navigation and MS Word experience.
• Capable of reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Experience in using standard measuring tools and equipment.
• Accurate, detail-oriented, and organized.
• Good verbal and written communications skills.
