Job Description:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- medical billing in its entirety - from claim submission to collection
- acting as front desk staff which includes:
- checking patients in and out - documenting all pertinent information
- collecting and entering charges and payments
- scheduling appointments
- answering patient inquiries
- prepares and maintains patient medical records
- As all employees, works as the ambassador to uphold a professional and positive work environment
- Assists in other duties at the request of physician or co-workers to help build an efficient team.
- Adabts and is willing to change with the needs of the position
- Maintains office appearance (including cleaning and tidying) to ensure cleanliness, patient comfort.
- Follows confidentiality policies and adheres to HIPAA privacy rules.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School graduate.
- Previous medical front desk and billing experience
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Computer skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with public, visitors, and staff.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
