Job Title: Hotel Supervisor
Location: The Trianon Hotel
Job Summary: The Trianon Hotel is seeking an enthusiastic Hotel Supervisor and dedicated to support daily hotel operations and provide exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach and will work closely with both the front desk team and restaurant staff. This position requires proficiency in RoomMaster reservation software, as well as flexibility to assist with the management and operations of the two on-property restaurants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hotel Operations:
- Oversee front desk operations, ensuring seamless check-in/check-out processes and maintaining high guest satisfaction.
- Manage reservations using RoomMaster software, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
- Assist in supervising hotel staff, ensuring all roles are filled and tasks are completed according to hotel standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and quality.
- Monitor inventory levels for hotel amenities, supplies, and equipment, and assist with ordering as needed.
- Restaurant Support:
- Assist in the daily operations of the hotel’s two on-property restaurants, including overseeing staff, seating arrangements, and ensuring a high level of service.
- Coordinate with restaurant managers to ensure smooth communication between hotel operations and restaurant teams.
- Be flexible to step into different roles within the restaurants when necessary, including front-of-house and back-of-house assistance.
- Ensure guest satisfaction in the restaurants by handling complaints and providing immediate resolutions.
- Support with menu updates, promotions, and reservations related to the dining services.
- Staff and Training:
- Provide training, guidance, and support to staff in both the hotel and restaurant departments.
- Assist in scheduling and managing daily staffing to ensure optimal coverage across both hotel and restaurant operations.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Other Duties:
- Perform any additional tasks or special projects assigned by the hotel management team.
- Maintain a proactive, guest-focused attitude to enhance the overall guest experience.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in hotel management, guest services, or a related field.
- Experience using RoomMaster reservation software is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Experience in restaurant operations or willingness to support restaurant management is required.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to handle guest complaints and issues professionally and with discretion.
