Starting pay range $60,000 a year.
Job Overview : Under the direction of the Supervisor of Education, manages a student caseload; provides academic instruction to students on an individualized or small group basis; communicates with families, teachers, and school personnel to support a successful educational journey; travels to school sites as assigned to meet with instruction and administrative teams and to engage students in their learning environment. Provides academic guidance to students attending the afterschool program at the SMSC Education center as scheduled. Works with the Education Department on curricular and programmatic innovations. Maintains a safe and healthy environment. Responsible for the supervision of students in classroom settings, and on activities as scheduled.
