Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting assessments, and developing treatment plans for individuals with various mental health needs. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, crisis intervention techniques, and behavior management strategies. The Clinician will work closely with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective treatment and support.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Utilize coding systems such as ICD-10 for accurate documentation and billing purposes.
- Provide counseling services addressing gender issues and working with individuals on the autism spectrum.
- Implement behavior management strategies to support patients in achieving their therapeutic goals.
- Engage in crisis intervention when necessary to ensure patient safety and well-being.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care, progress notes, and treatment outcomes.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
Qualifications
- Relevant degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
- Experience in patient assessment and care within a clinical setting.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and coding practices (ICD-10).
- Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and behavior management approaches.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Previous experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum is preferred but not required.
