Tribe Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide support to individuals in a male-focused youth program. This role is ideal for high school or college students or individuals looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young males. While all qualified candidates are welcome to apply, males are encouraged to apply due to the nature of the program.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct support and supervision to male youth program participants.
- Assist individuals with daily activities, life skills, and community engagement.
- Foster a positive and supportive environment while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Implement and follow individualized care plans and behavioral support strategies.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of participants at all times.
- Assist with transportation, outings, and program activities as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent (college students are encouraged to apply).
- Experience working with youth, individuals with disabilities, or in a mentorship role is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Patience, reliability, and a passion for helping others.
- Must pass a background check prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred.
