About The Role

This is a unique opportunity in the NZ FMCG market to lead a high performing grocery business through an ambitious and exciting phase of their growth journey. Along with your Business Managers and wider team, you will work closely with key grocery retailers, developing strategic partnerships that unlock new opportunities and maximise value for both sides.

You will be responsible for leading negotiations and commercial agreements that enhance market share growth and profitability in one of the fastest growing categories in the NZ market. Being a NZ manufacturer, we expect you will have strong relationships internally with marketing, supply chain, manufacturing and technical teams. As a key member of the Executive Team, you will provide commercial leadership, ensuring the sales team thrives on collaboration, innovation and results.

About You

  • A strategic sales leader with a proven track record of driving significant growth in the FMCG grocery market, preferably in food or dairy.
  • Strong experience in people management and driving growth through FMCG retail, with deep knowledge of category management and commercial negotiations.
  • While we are looking for high strategic ability, you will be comfortable ‘rolling the sleeves up’ and working executionally across the business.
  • You will bring strong systems and process discipline but be able to act quickly and operate with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
  • You will be highly proficient with retail data, using insights to drive decision-making and competitive advantage.
  • A high-energy, results-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
