Position : Echo Tech
Location : West Burlington, IA, 52655
Duration : 13 Weeks contract
Shift : 8hrs days (7:30am-4:00pm), 40hrs/week - Plus Call required
Job Summary:
- Coordinate and participate in a variety of duties involved in the operation of echocardiography equipment to obtain and record two-dimensional and M-mode graphic representations of the heart utilizing high frequency sound waves to assist physician in the diagnosis of cardiac malfunctions, malformations and abnormalities.
- Effectively interacts with patients, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining credo values.
- Demonstrates a high level of knowledge and practice utilizing critical thinking skills in performing test on the following patient populations: Cardiac/Acute Myocardial Infarction.
Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Applied Science or related field.
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer - Must be registered through ARDMS Registry.
- RDCS or CCI credentialed.
- Experience with stress testing and TEEs.
