Responsibilities
Leadership:
- Project a positive image to students, staff, customers, business associates, and the community in accordance to TUBC Standards.
- Act as a role model.
- Ensure the consistent implementation of student policies, timely and consistently.
- Maintain cooperation and teamwork in the campus, creating a school spirit, placing a high emphasis on customer service and satisfaction by participating/promoting contests and student recognition.
- Identify, evaluate and resolve problems in a timely manner, utilizing innovative ideas and sound judgment according to school policies.
- Initiate student advising, and/or expulsion procedures according to policy.
- Prepare management reports and perform administrative functions accurately and timely.
- Coordinate and execute communication, processes, and document flow to ensure academic records are maintained according to TUBC expectations.
- Manage the student experience at the campus, including educational progress, Student Council and Student Teams.
- Coordinate parent involvement in student’s education while abiding by FERPA Laws.
- Participate in IEP meetings and manage execution of compliance accommodations.
- Participate in new student orientations.
- Document 14 day attendance monitoring, reference information, and other activities to maintain student progress, document and compliant with TUBC policies and procedures.
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of student attendance in the student information system.
- Maintain satisfactory student retention.
- Facilitate job placement program.
- Promote Face book Placement initiative.
- Manage the student exit process, including graduation prep.
- Advise students on satisfactory attendance and academic progress and initiate counseling/separation procedures as needed.
- Create graduate packs, including official student transcripts.
- Forward written student complaints to the Campus Director.
- Consult and implement all student terminations with the Campus Director.
- Facilitate and notify appropriate departments of changes in student status.
- Communicate student retention and readmission progress and goals as needed to the Campus Director and Student Success Manager
- Ensure the implementation and adherence of NACCAS, Federal, State and TUBC regulations and procedures.
- Assist with special projects and coverage.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Licensed Cosmetology/Esthetics teacher preferred
- Flexible schedule (day/evening/Saturdays)
