OpenShift Systems Engineer Contract to hire/Onsite
Summary
We are looking for an OpenShift Systems Engineer. The ideal candidate for this role is passionate about using technology to solve business challenges.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, implement, and configure OpenShift 4 clusters.
- Manage the container ecosystem (installations, upgrades, patching, monitoring).
- Ensure fault tolerance and redundancy for business recovery.
- Monitor and manage infrastructure performance and capacity.
- Monitor, patch, and configure Nutanix Platform.
Requirements
- 1 year managing OpenShift or other Kubernetes-based environments.
- Experience with the following:
- Red Hat OpenShift (OCP);
- Kubernetes;
- Docker/Podman;
- Quay;
- ADO/Git;
- Advanced Cluster Security (ACS)/StackRox;
- Advanced Cluster Management (ACM);
- Linux;
- Red Hat CoreOS;
- Nutanix.
Preferred
- Knowledge of application container technologies (Docker, Podman, etc.).
- Experience with Linux and scripting languages (BASH, YAML, JSON).
- Automation experience (Ansible, Argo CD).
