The Scrum Master will be responsible for guiding teams in effectively adopting the Delivery Process Framework to deliver projects of all types and sizes. This custom framework blends traditional and iterative methodologies, requiring expert understanding of both Agile and hybrid development approaches. The Scrum Master will facilitate key framework meetings, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with other Scrum Masters and IT team members, including managers and non-managers, to ensure alignment and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Guide teams in adopting and adapting the Delivery Process Framework including its values, processes, and best practices.
- Foster self-organization within teams and promote Agile Best Practices.
- Identify and address gaps in the Delivery Process Framework to optimize team performance.
- Coach teams to higher levels of process maturity while maintaining a sustainable pace of change.
- Act as a Servant Leader, proactively removing impediments or collaborating with the right individuals to resolve them.
- Lead and facilitate key Agile ceremonies including:
- Daily Standups;
- Backlog Grooming;
- Sprint Reviews & Retrospectives;
- Sprint Planning.
- Enhance team communication, transparency, and information sharing across the organization.
- Develop and deliver team metrics and dashboards to track progress and promote transparency.
- Maintain normal office working conditions with occasional travel to other locations as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-years of professional experience in one or more of the following roles:
- Scrum Master;
- IT Business Analyst;
- IT Project Manager.
- Experience serving as a Scrum Master for IT teams; applying Agile principles, practices, and frameworks.
- Knowledge and experience with Hybrid development methodologies including traditional, Agile, and Lean approaches.
- In-depth understanding of:
- Scrum ceremonies and Agile frameworks;
- Work decomposition (features, user stories, tasks);
- Phase-Gate methodologies.
- Strong business analysis, project management, and organizational skills.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams with the ability to influence others without direct authority.
- Agile certifications (e.g., CSM, PSM, SAFe).
