Location: 125 Colfax Street Springdale, PA USA, 15144
Type: 1 year contract on W2
Shift Timing: M-F 7:30am-4pm
Job Overview:
Experience Level: 0-3 years
Provides support for technical issues
Identifies, researches, and resolves routine technical problems of low complexity
Producing liquid samples by following a formulation recipe in the blending of paint samples (typical sample sizes: ½ pint to 1 quart; occasionally 5 gallon pails for internal and external equipment trials)
Key Responsibilities:
Application and preparation of coated wood, vinyl, or fiberglass samples by following application process sequence as directed
Physical property testing of coated samples, including adhesion, abrasion resistance, stain/chemical resistance, scratch resistance, gloss retention, etc.
Color matching on wood substrates using stains and/or with opaque systems
Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Two years of college level math and science or equivalent experience desirable, but not required
