Position Overview:
We are looking for motivated, skilled laborers to join our team and contribute to various erosion control and seeding projects. As a key member of our crew, you will work alongside experienced professionals to install and maintain erosion control systems, plant ground cover, and help restore natural landscapes. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about outdoor work, thrive in a collaborative environment, and are eager to take pride in the results of their hard work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain erosion control products such as silt fence, straw wattles, and other temporary or permanent solutions
- Assist in seeding, planting, and soil stabilization techniques
- Operate and maintain equipment such as tractors, seed drills, trucks, and small hand tools
- Work efficiently and safely in various outdoor conditions, adhering to all safety standards and regulations
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored
- Help troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues in a proactive and efficient manner
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and clients
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license (class A CDL is preferred but not required)
- 18-20 year olds will be considered
- Pass pre-employment and random drug screenings for full-time positions
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, erosion control, farming, or related field is preferred, but not required
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to follow directions
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks and responsibilities
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75lbs) and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- A positive attitude, willingness to push yourself, and a drive to be your best every day
- Must be able to adapt to rapidly changing plans and situations

Details:
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, might have to work on Saturdays if weather calls for it.
Compensation: Wage rate dependent on experience and skills.
