Job Overview
We seek a Senior HR Manager to lead our HR operations, contracts, payroll, onboarding, and compliance functions. This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in US staffing, employment contracts, HR policies, payroll processing, compliance, and ATS management. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless HR operations while enhancing employee experience both for US and India.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Operations & Compliance
- Oversee end-to-end HR functions for internal employees for US and India and consultants placed with clients.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws (I-9, EEO, FLSA, OSHA).
- Maintain employee records, HR databases, and documentation in the ATS (Applicant Tracking System).
- Implement and update HR policies and handbooks in line with best practices.
2. Contracts & Payroll Management
- Draft, review, and manage employment contracts, offer letters, NDAs, and consultant agreements.
- Oversee US payroll processing (W2, C2C, 1099) in coordination with finance and payroll vendors.
- Manage benefits administration, employee compensation, and tax withholdings.
- Ensure timely payroll compliance and handle discrepancies and audits.
3. Onboarding & Employee Engagement
- Lead the onboarding process for new hires and consultants, ensuring smooth transition into client projects.
- Conduct HR orientations, set up payroll/benefits, and manage background checks.
- Foster employee engagement through initiatives, town halls, and HR wellness programs.
- Address employee relations issues, grievances, and exit processes professionally.
4. ATS & Talent Management
- Manage and optimize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) for efficient candidate tracking and hiring.
- Support recruiters in ATS workflows, automation, and reporting.
- Assist in talent acquisition strategies to streamline staffing and hiring processes.
5. Vendor & Client Relations
- Serve as an HR liaison between internal teams, consultants, and clients.
- Manage relationships with payroll vendors, benefits providers, and legal counsel.
- Collaborate with MSP/VMS programs for compliance and performance tracking.
Qualifications & Skills
- 7 years of HR experience in the staffing/recruitment industry.
- Expertise in HR policies, employment contracts, US labor laws, and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of US payroll processing (W2, C2C, 1099) and benefits administration.
- Hands-on experience with ATS platforms, HRIS, and payroll software.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and employee relations skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic staffing environment.
- Bachelor's/Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
