Job Title : Process Engineer
Department : Engineering
Location : High Bridge, NJ
Summary
This position is responsible for preparing an accurate and detailed shop routing package within a specific timeframe to meet customer commitments and current scheduled shop load.
Responsibilities
- Ability to review customer ordering data on sales order, MITP, and quality checklist.
- Understand standard drawings
- Understand standard specification requirements such as ASTM, ASME, MSS, etc.
- Knowledge of product description including alloys and end preparations.
- Knowledge of standard testing requirements, both NDT and DT.
- Prepare shop drawings in accordance with all ordering data.
- Knowledge of welding procedures.
- Reserve raw material from inventory for production purposes when necessary.
- Analyze selected raw material for conformance to purchase order and specification requirements.
- Prepare a routing package including a routing, shop drawing, quality checklists and other applicable documents.
- Review shop routings produced by other process engineers for accuracy.
- Modify selected master routings for detailed step by step manufacturing processes.
- Use of Pronest.
