Job Title : Process Engineer

Location : High Bridge, NJ

Summary

This position is responsible for preparing an accurate and detailed shop routing package within a specific timeframe to meet customer commitments and current scheduled shop load.

Responsibilities

• Ability to review customer ordering data on sales order, MITP, and quality checklist.
• Understand standard drawings
• Understand standard specification requirements such as ASTM, ASME, MSS, etc.
• Knowledge of product description including alloys and end preparations.
• Knowledge of standard testing requirements, both NDT and DT.
• Prepare shop drawings in accordance with all ordering data.
• Knowledge of welding procedures.
• Reserve raw material from inventory for production purposes when necessary.
• Analyze selected raw material for conformance to purchase order and specification requirements.
• Prepare a routing package including a routing, shop drawing, quality checklists and other applicable documents.
• Review shop routings produced by other process engineers for accuracy.
• Modify selected master routings for detailed step by step manufacturing processes.
• Use of Pronest.
