Job Title : Sonographer

Guaranteed Hours :

Experience : Minimum years of experience required

License : Registered with ARDMS or CCI for vascular ultrasound

Certifications : General / Vascular, Echo (a plus)

Must-Have :

Vaccination against COVID-19 or proper exemption documentation
Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound technology program
Maintain required certification and registries
Valid driver's license

Job Description :

Provide mobile ultrasound service across various facilities.

Transport and unload portable sonographic equipment to perform exams as ordered by physicians.

Perform and process ultrasounds using portable sonographic equipment and digitally send results to a Radiologist for interpretation.

Ensure clinically diagnostic, technically competent images are obtained.

Scan exam-related paperwork / billing daily as per protocol.

Communicate regularly, efficiently, and professionally with peers, management, and clients.

Physical Demands :

The Sonographer may need to lift the Equipment Bag into and out of a vehicle and / or wheeled cart, requiring 18 to 20 pounds of force.

Equipment Bag is placed into a wheeled cart and is pulled for up to 250 feet, requiring an initiating force of 10 lbs., and a sustained force of 5 to 8 pounds.
