Trifecta Hospitality Group is growing! We have an immediate position to fill for a Catering Manager that can take on multiple concepts menus and handle sales, scheduling, promotions, fundraisers and school and specialty events.
Job Summary
The Catering Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of catering operations, ensuring exceptional service and quality food offerings for events. This role requires strong leadership skills, a keen understanding of food safety and service management, and the ability to train and develop staff. The Catering Manager will work closely with clients to plan and execute catering services that meet their needs while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Duties
- Plan, coordinate, and manage catering events from start to finish, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Supervise catering staff, providing training and development to enhance performance.
- Maintain food safety standards in compliance with health regulations.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing costs.
- Utilize POS systems for order processing and financial tracking.
- Conduct interviews and hire new team members as needed.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to create menus that align with client preferences and dietary restrictions.
- Ensure the setup and breakdown of events are executed smoothly and efficiently.
- Provide leadership during events to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service management or a related field, preferably in catering or casual dining environments.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team effectively.
- Experience with POS systems for managing orders and transactions.
- Ability to develop training programs for staff development.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in planning events.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as needed for events.
