Paw City Elite Grooming and Trifecta Kennels are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team at our gorgeous upscale Historic Downtown Easton location.

As a Pet Groomer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of pets while providing exceptional grooming services. Your expertise in animal care and handling will contribute to creating a positive experience for both pets and their owners. Paw City Elite Grooming has a busy and bustling Dog Grooming Salon in Easton that is expanding. The Salon has just finished a major remodeling and we are looking for experienced groomers to bring their clients into our upscale salon.

We are looking for Groomers who have their own book of customers.

If you are a groomer and would like to build a book of customers we can help you build a list of customers as well.

Responsibilities

• Provide grooming services for dogs and other pets, including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping.
• Assess the condition of pets’ coats and skin to recommend appropriate grooming treatments.
• Handle pets with care and ensure their comfort during grooming sessions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners about their pets’ grooming needs and any concerns observed during sessions.
• Keep accurate records of services performed on each pet.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all animals.
• Stay updated on grooming techniques, products, and trends in the pet care industry.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in dog handling, animal care, or related fields is preferred.
• Familiarity with veterinary practices is a plus.
• Skills in pet sitting or dog training are beneficial but not mandatory.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger breeds or equipment.
• Strong customer service skills to effectively interact with pet owners and address their needs.
• Knowledge of animal restraint techniques to ensure safety during grooming procedures.
• A genuine passion for animals and commitment to providing high-quality care.

Pay: $12.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 40 per week
