Accounts Payable/Purchasing Clerk Job
Trifecta Oilfield Services is looking to hire an Accounts Payable Clerk for our Floresville, Texas office. Main responsibilities will be to receive, log and process invoices for payment. General understanding of basic accounting principles is important. Other duties such as data entry, cost coding and expense reports will be assigned as necessary. Must be detail oriented and comfortable using accounting software. Will help with purchasing for multiple locations. Organize deliveries for purchases.
Responsibilities
- Monitors accounts payable email.
- Receives, processes and enters invoices into accounting system.
- Prepare check payments and process ACH and EFT transactions.
- Ensure proper coding of invoice charges.
- Verifies invoices for accuracy and assure payments are processed in a timely manner.
- Establish and maintain new and existing required vendor information files.
- Answer vendor questions and resolve outstanding issues.
- Assists with monitoring and reporting for accounts payable processes.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass drug test.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Proven experience as accounts payable clerk or general accounting experience is preferred.
- Adherence to laws and confidentiality guidelines
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel); Working knowledge of relevant software (e.g. Acumatica) is preferred.
- Excellent math ability
- Good organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education will be a plus
