Overall Purpose
The Mechanical Technician is a vital part of the first line of defense to keep the assembly process running smoothly.
May Report to
Site Manager
Responsibilities
(To include but not limited to the following)
Customer Relationship & Business Development
- Act as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteria
Operations
- Reassemble machines and tractor equipment post-repairs, tests and make adjustments as required for continuous safe performance.
- Test different electrical components and wiring such as electrical circuits, with soldering equipment and test meters, to restore proper functioning.
- Keep detailed records of customer details and calculate costs for repairs based on labor, parts used, and repairs made.
Organization & Management
- Demonstrated ability in written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated comfort level in interfacing with various levels of the customer's staff and management while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Positive and adaptable to workflow changes.

Ability to diagnose non-conforming parts and ability to repair. Comprehension level knowledge of industrial equipment assembly processes.
