Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality radiographic procedures to assist in the diagnosis of disease and injuries.
The ideal candidate will have an Associate's Degree or Diploma in Allied Health, with experience in clinical allied health medical/physician office settings. They will also possess knowledge of radiation safety practices and minor industrial injury care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality radiographic procedures as prescribed by a physician and in accordance with department policies and procedures.
- Work effectively with patients and families to provide patient care and maintain a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental team members.
- Maintain accurate records through the completion of all paperwork and ensure that work is completed before submitting it.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree or Diploma in Allied Health.
- Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program.
- Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS), Radiologic Technologist, GXMO or ARRT and State License, or Doctor of Chiropractice license.
