What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sports Medicine Professional position at TriHealth?
**Job Overview:**
This position plays a crucial role in the health and well-being of athletes, reporting to the Program Manager of Sports Medicine or the Manager of Rehab Services. The Athletic Trainer (AT) is indirectly responsible to the Supervisor or Lead Athletic Trainer (if applicable).
The successful candidate will demonstrate ability to perform functions regarding athletic injuries: prevention, evaluation, first aid, treatment, and rehabilitation, reconditioning, and wellness, as set forth by relevant state laws and generally accepted principles of athletic training.
The AT will work closely with team physicians, healthcare providers, coaches, administrators, and families to ensure high standards of quality care for patients and clients.
Required skills and qualifications include a Master's Degree in Athletic Training or equivalent, Board of Certification Credential (BOC), Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS), and Board Licensed in the state in which they will practice.
