Job Summary:
Trileaf is seeking a Group Manager to lead the Texas Environmental Group. This individual should have applied knowledge of Phase I ESA’s, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) as well as experience in project management and the management of personnel. This position will be located at our physical Austin, Texas office.
Essential Job Functions:
- Lead and manage the Texas Environmental Group, ensuring effective allocation of resources and timely completion of project deliverables.
- Accountable for hiring (or promoting), training, and supervision of multiple Project Managers
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Project Management principles
- Maintain and improve training materials
- Completing report reviews and QA/QC
- Maintain relationships with existing clients as the main Corporate Point of Contact
- Business development to new and existing clients
- Oversight of continued profitability of the group, ensuring appropriate team and resource allocation
- End of year summary data and financial projections
- Oversight of the team’s monthly and yearly financial status
- Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
To be considered, the resume of the applicant must demonstrate the following qualifications/skills:
- Expert familiarity with regulations of Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) or Phase I ESAs & Limited Phase II investigations
- 5 years management experience
- Self motivated, quick learning, and flexible with a common-sense approach to conducting business and workload management
- Willingness to travel to industry events and networking events within assigned AOR
- Thorough working knowledge of Office 365 software programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Strong oral and written communication skills, detail oriented and recognized organizational abilities
- Be an independent worker dedicated to excellence
- Valid driver’s license
Education:
- Bachelors Degree in Environmental Sciences, Biology, Geology or similar field
