Position Purpose
- The Director, Finance supports Trillium Community Health Plan, playing a key role in the month-end close, planning and forecasting cycles, and quarterly board of director/business reviews. This role will focus on financial/trend analysis, variance explanations, and identifying key business drivers to support data-driven decision-making.
- Direct, negotiate and handle activities of Trillium’s finance department and aid in formulating and administering organization financial policies and procedures.
- Lead monthly financial close and quarterly/annual forecast process for our Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial lines of business
- Oversee preparation of accurate and timely external and internal financial reports
- Collaborate with State and internal actuaries on annual rate process for Medicaid contract
- Monitor legislative and political developments affecting the plan from a financial perspective.
- Direct the development of the plan’s local portfolio of affordability initiatives
- Partner with senior management in the development of functional area staffing models
- Provide financial plan for performance variances, operating alternatives, program and investment initiatives, etc.
- Identify and communicate key business drivers and trends impacting financial results.
- Support the plan CFO in preparing materials and insights for Quarterly Board of Director Meetings, Quarterly Business Reviews, Quarterly Financial Forecast Reviews and other executive presentations.

- Applicants for this job have the flexibility to work remote from home anywhere in the Continental United States. Due to the needs of the business, ideal schedule is Pacific Standard Time.* Pay Range $132,000.00 - $244,100.00 per year Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.

Salary : $132,000 - $244,100
