Job Summary:
The flock services employee is responsible for the safe vaccination and handling to all the birds in the Pullets locations.
Essential Job Functions:
- Cleaning of cages with air compressors, air hoses, and wands
- Removing any remaining feed, eggs, feathers, manure, and washing walls
- Vaccinating birds
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to push loaded carts of up to 800 pounds
- Must be able to push loaded carts 500 feet or more
- Able to work at warm temperatures at times up to 90-95 degrees
- Good arm and hand coordination
- Ability to work irregular hours including weekends.
- Ability to work in various climate conditions including extreme heat and cold environments, walking, and standing for long periods of time.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Clean driving record
- Technical knowledge of Bio-security and Food Safety
- Mechanical and or maintenance experience
