We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Engineering Manager to assist the Director of Engineering in managing the resources of our engineering department. The successful candidate will ensure that customer requirements are met and company objectives and goals are achieved. This role involves overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the engineering staff.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee and report on the daily workflow of the department.
- Ensure appropriate commitment acceptance during the planning phase.
- Distribute workload and task assignments within the department.
- Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of engineering deliverables (Design Reviews, Reports, Drawings) consistent with commitments.
- Lead and coordinate various engineering functions and operations, including quality assurance, testing, and production.
- Facilitate communication among clients/customers and engineers, ensuring specifications and deadlines are clearly communicated and understood.
- Review work and projects for technical accuracy.
- Operate as the key coordination interface between engineering and wider site operations.
- Maintain and ensure adherence to the Quality Program.
- Ensure compliance with the Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Management system.
- Represent Engineering during applicable audits such as ISO/PED/NIAC/NUPIC.
- Deputize for the Director of Engineering, representing the entire Engineering Function as required.
- Represent the Engineering Function internally and externally, which may include domestic and international travel.
- Maintain reasonable availability during off hours as required.
- BS in Engineering with at least 10 years of experience.
- 5 or more years of experience in the nuclear or fluid power industry.
- PE (Professional Engineer) designation is desirable but not required.
