The Central Supply Coordinator provides support to Healthcare, Personal
Care, and Purchasing by maintaining an organized system for receiving, storing,
and distributing supplies .
They also control costs by maintaining specific amounts of supplies and
obtaining vendor quotes before purchasing any approved supplies and or
equipment. This position will be performed in accordance with TANDEM LIVING Core Values, Mission Statement, and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High
school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience
in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Enters
data and resident charges through Supply Software System, bar-coding software,
and scanner. Oversees the receiving and storage of supplies. Reconciles
purchase orders to packing slips for correct receipt of goods.
- Orders
various supplies online through approved vendors. Performs product research
on-line and through vendors, as requested.
- Oversees
supply allocation and inventory management utilizing current equipment
software. Performs Pyxis data entry as needed, authorizes new employee access
to system upon request from Nursing. Delivers supplies to the healthcare areas as
directed.
- Collaborates with the Director of Nursing, NHA, Director of Personal Care, and other department leaders to obtain vendor quotes as needed; assists with bid processes in accordance with organizational guidelines.
- Performs
data entry for resident billing to enable file uploads to current billing
system for Personal Care and Healthcare as required.
