*Full-time: 80 hours biweekly
-Typically,
Monday through Friday; evenings as needed.
-Weekend rotation.
The Life Enrichment Coordinator position
is considered a “working” leadership position with the primary function of
promoting and supporting an overall vision for Life Enrichment activities for
Personal Care and the community. This position will be performed in accordance
with TANDEM LIVINGS’ Core Values, Mission Statement, and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors
degree is preferred.
- Certified
Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) or Activity Director (ADC)
Certification preferred.
- One
to three years of on-the-job experience required.
- One
to three years of supervisory/leadership experience preferred.
- Computer
skills needed; must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Coordinates
department functions, provides support, supervision, and mentoring for Life
Enrichment Aides and Specialists.
- Work cohesively with Life
Enrichment team members to create resident activity calendars ensuring they are
accurate and updated.
- Manages schedule for Life
Enrichment Aides and Specialists; covers activities and documentation.
- Monitors
Life Enrichment budget in coordination with Director of Personal Care and Life
Enrichment Manager.
- Plans,
organizes, and implements programs for various levels of abilities and
interests in a variety of settings. Provides a variety of opportunities for
residents to carry out personal and social interests and their daily pleasures.
