Production Worker Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Production Worker to join our team at Trillium Staffing. As a Production Worker, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, stacking, inspecting, and cleaning paper as it comes off the corrugators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify unit counts are correct through hand count or inch count when necessary
- Ensure proper load tags are in each unit
- Sort, re-stack, flip stack, and hand band units as needed
- Operate corrugators conveyor lines and unitize
- Adhere to production schedules and make recommendations for optimizing schedules to meet cost, quality, and service goals
- Report unusual scheduling issues to the Supervisor
- Learn and assist Slitter Operator and Double backer when necessary
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
- Forklift experience preferred but not required
- Prior work experience in the corrugated industry preferred
- 6 months experience on the dry end of the corrugators preferred
- 6 months experience as a Double backer Operator preferred
