Senior Accountant

Trillium Construction is hiring for a Senior Accountant in Lake Lillian, MN to work directly for a well-established agricultural manufacturing company.

The ideal candidate will have experience in cost accounting, financial analysis, and inventory management within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing production costs, and supporting management in decision-making by providing insightful financial reports.

Duties :

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts related to manufacturing operations.
• Continuously improve ERP system use.
• Analyze and monitor production costs, including material, labor, and overhead.
• Develop and maintain standard cost models to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for manufacturing operations.
• Conduct inventory valuation and ensure proper cost allocation.
• Review and improve internal controls related to manufacturing and inventory processes.
• Work closely with production, procurement, and operations teams to enhance cost efficiency.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports related to manufacturing performance and profitability.
• Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and company financial policies.
