Internship Summary
The goal of the internship is to develop an understanding of how to produce a sporting event. Interns will play a critical role in the pre-production, production, and post-production of summer lacrosse tournaments.
Interns will work at specific tournaments for 3 day periods as listed below. The times listed in this job description are subject to change slightly based on the schedule and/or weather conditions. Interns must be able to commit to all listed events.
Interns will work closely with Trilogy leadership in setting up the facility prior to the tournament, executing the management of tournament gameday operations, and breaking the event down and packing up supplies at the conclusion of the event.
This internship is based at the various tournament locations and requires weekend work. Interns must be able to do physical labor without issue including lifting and movement of lacrosse goals, safety netting, tents, tables, etc.
Duration: 3 Lacrosse Tournaments: Mid-Atlantic
Event 1: May 30 - Jun 1: The Turning Point, North East, MD (Fri AM-Sun PM): $425
- Friday: Event Setup, 10:00am-4:00pm
- Saturday: Tournament Gameday Staff, 6:30am-8:00pm
- Sunday: Tournament Gameday Staff Event Breakdown, 6:30am-5:00pm
Event 2: Jun 20-22: East Coast Cup/Radar Invitational, Lawrence, NJ (Fri AM-Sun PM): $425
- Friday: Event Setup, 10:00am-4:00pm
- Saturday: Tournament Gameday Staff, 6:30am-8:00pm
- Sunday: Tournament Gameday Staff Event Breakdown, 6:30am-5:00pm
Event 3: July 8-10: Trilogy 24, Conshohocken, PA (Tue AM – Thu PM): $425
- Tuesday: Event Setup, 10:00am-4:00pm
- Wednesday: Tournament Gameday Staff: 6:30am-8:30pm
- Thursday: Tournament Gameday Staff Event Breakdown: 6:30am-5:00pm
Compensation: The compensation is $425 per event hotel/lodging. All meals are provided while on site working the event. Hotel/Lodging is provided if needed. We do not provide travel reimbursements.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Play a critical role in in the pre-event setup for summer tournaments
- Play a critical role in in the execution and post-production for summer tournaments
- Positively impact the overall customer experience at our events
Required Qualifications: (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
- Professional and courteous oral communication skills
- Possess a roll up the sleeves attitude and ability to perform loading, unloading and setup tasks at events
- Ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships with co-workers, vendors, parents, participants
- Active listening skills, calm demeanor, strong ability to follow-up, passion to see project through to completion
- Ability to succeed in team-oriented and independent project environments
- Time-management skills: ability to prioritize and multi-task jobs associated with position

Required Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 1 Year of College Experience
- Lacrosse playing experience is preferable, but not required
