Reports to: MARKETING MANAGER

Job Summary

Trilogy Wellness is a leading independent cannabis dispensary brand in Maryland. Trilogy is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and creative leader to be our Marketing Coordinator as part of our dispensary marketing group. The Marketing Coordinator reports to the Marketing Manager on a broad array of sales, marketing, social media product/inventory, event management procurement support. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for the oversight of marketing execution and digital media brand presence for the Trilogy brand and for sister companies in the restaurant and wellness space. The role is a 40 hour per week position assigned to work Monday through Sunday 7am-10pm as the business needs require.

Qualifications

Education

· Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or minimum five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

· Minimum 3 years Marketing experience in a direct to consumer or retail marketing brand or environment. Experience in the health and wellness or hospitality industries is preferred but not required. Experience in the cannabis space is preferred but not required.

· Experience coordinating on-site events and vendor.

· Ability to coordinate multiple project and priorities in a fast-paced environment

· Knowledge of principles of marketing and communications in both a retail and online business model(s)

· Experience with customer relationship management software, email marketing software

· Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets.

· Knowledge of local and state laws marketing regulations pertaining to medical cannabis is a plus.

· Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products and services via social media, email marketing, website content/ecommerce and other marketing channels. This includes developing marketing strategies and campaigns and the tactical execution and management of those campaigns.

Responsibilities

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for executing the marketing plan at the direction of the Marketing Lead/Manager and the Director of Marketing. To accomplish these goals, the Marketing Coordinator will excel at the following:

Marketing coordination- coordinate and keep records and calendars of all aspects of go-to market launches, advertising, email campaigns, sms campaigns, events and social media including tracking and analyzing the performance of advertising campaigns, reporting on social media and digital marketing analytics and ensuring that all marketing material is in line with our brand identity

Develop tactics and execute the marketing plan as outlined to drive brand awareness and qualified traffic to our companies. Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their coordination from ideation to execution

Produce valuable and engaging content strategy for our digital channels, website and blog that attracts and converts our target groups

Daily Sales analysis assist with the evaluation of campaigns- to identify their success/failure of sales- analyze roadmap with all data on sales and GPM performance, daily sales reports to inform marketing campaigns

Monthly marketing report- analysis of prior month’s marketing campaign performance for social media and other digital channels

Digital marketing- help coordinate creative and execution of digital advertising and digital menu vendors and provide on-going campaign analytics and performance metrics.

Design- proficient in the use of Canva to design digital and print marketing assets for in-store promotions and external advertisements

Marketing coordination- assist with the completion of marketing calendars and plans overseeing the execution of all content on menu advertising platforms, social media, website, and other platforms.

Social media- primary owner of social media accounts for Trilogy and sister company Banditos. Produce and gather content including but not limited to videos, photography etc. Coordinate with internal staff members to feature in-store content for Trilogy.

Project Coordination- participate in cross-functional projects including but not limited to marketing stack and POS technology integration, CRM data mining and other projects support the Marketing Manager and Direction of Marketing as assigned

Events- Develop relationships and coordinate the execution of all marketing pop up events and assist the marketing leadership with the execution of major events such as 4/20 and other cannabis holidays. Coordinate with vendors and internal to submit AAR report to Marketing director and execute vendor follow up reports to request product credits tied to events.

Procurement- Support the Marketing manager with the tracking and sourcing of new inventory for cannabis and non cannabis products.

Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals.

Menus support the management of our online digital menus and in store menu boards acting as the fully trained back up to our dedicated menu resources

Compliance ensure sales, marketing and social media campaigns and initiatives meet the minimum compliance requirements of the Maryland Cannabis Administration. Coordinate approvals as required.

KPIs daily, week and monthly performance indicators will be set across all functions digital marketing, social media, email marketing etc. with reports and tracking sent to marketing manager as requested.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

· Proficient computer skills including Microsoft office products and experience CRM, email and other marketing platforms.

· Proficient in managing a content calendar and the execution of content on social media channels such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook

· Proficient in Canva design platform

· Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills

· Experience in managing and analyzing digital marketing campaigns in Google ad words, social media platforms and Display adverting

· Ability to work independently and as a patient of a team

· Ability to oversee hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

· Ability to work effectively in both leading and being part of a team. Desire and ability to develop staff of part time marketing support personnel and take the lead on key vendor relationships.

· Ability to effectively plan and prioritize with focus and diligence

· Outstanding writing skills and demonstrated marketing acumen

· Skilled in performing job duties in a demanding environment with the ability to stay even keeled while managing multiple priorities and projects

· Initiative-taking, flexible, adaptable, and a multi-tasker

· Flexibility, willingness to accept additional projects or challenges

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

· Extended time working on computer

· Ability to work a minimum of 8 hours a day and rotating shifts.

· Must be 21 years of age or older

· Reliable Transportation.

· Must be able to travel to a minimum of 2 offsite shoots per month in Baltimore metro area.
