The Learning and Development Manager is responsible for the execution of Trilogy’s L& D strategy, including operational planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of nonclinical training and development programs within Trilogy. Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Execution
- Assist with Designing and executing a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with Trilogy’s mission and objectives.
- Assess the training needs of staff through surveys, interviews, and performance evaluations to ensure relevance and effectiveness of programs.
- Program Implementation:
- Develop, deliver, and facilitate assessments, trainings and workshops and course content that cater to diverse learning styles and promote an inclusive atmosphere.
- Oversee the management of training resources, including materials and system platforms, supporting accessibility and mastery for all employees.
- Implement assessment tools to evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present reports on training outcomes and employee development metrics to senior management.
- Leadership and Mentorship:
- Provide direct leadership and guidance to a systems administrator and Learning/Development specialist, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Champion an inclusive workplace culture that values diversity and promotes equal opportunities for all employees.
- Collaboration and Partnership:
- Collaborate with leadership to identify specific training requirements and opportunities for professional development within their teams.
- Establish partnerships with external training organizations and educational institutions to enhance learning opportunities.
- Compliance and Best Practices:
- Ensure that all training programs adhere to industry regulations and best practices, particularly those pertinent to mental health care.
- Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in learning and development methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Education, Psychology, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience in a senior level or supervisory role within learning and development; a focus on the mental health care sector, or experience in the social services or non-profit sector is a plus
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in instructional design and program delivery
- Strong knowledge of adult learning theories
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment and foster an inclusive culture.
- Proficiency in training software and LMS platforms.
