What you’ll do
As a Senior Accounting Analyst , you will play a key role in managing payroll, financial reporting and invoicing for the firm. You’ll report directly to the Accounting Manager to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial operations. You’ll also :
Manage payroll functions, including timekeeping and third-party payroll processing.
Maintain and update employee data in the firm’s accounting software.
Assist with confidential financial information management.
Support month-end financial reporting.
Prepare and process invoices.
Reconcile monthly balance sheets and bank statements.
Act as a backup for accounts payable and receivable processes.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and deadlines.
Communicate financial information clearly and professionally.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

What it takes
To succeed in this role, you should have an associate degree in bookkeeping or accounting and a minimum of two years of relevant experience in payroll. A big plus would be experience with third-party payroll processing. Educational requirements may be offset by significant experience in similar roles. You should have strong analytical skills, pay attention to detail, and work independently and as part of a team. Here are other skills that will set you apart :

Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.
