Description
Wilson Engineers is an Arizona-based firm with a staff of more than 180 personnel specializing in water and wastewater engineering and construction management. We are dedicated to delivering ethical, reliable, high quality services to our clients based on innovation, while sustaining a challenging and rewarding work environment for our greatest assets, our employees. We are seeking an experienced Structural Inspector to join our team. This position requires 40 hours per week working in the field at locations throughout the Greater Phoenix Metropolitan area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Proactive and self-motivated individual, able to meet challenging time constraints and work independently and as part of a team
- Review project plans and specifications to develop a comprehensive understanding of the project
- Provide onsite construction inspection for projects located throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area
- Coordinate in the field with the project Owners, Contractors and 3rd-party material testing agencies
- Communicate effectively with Structural Engineering staff who supervise work in progress
- Prepare Daily reports to document construction progress, changes and as-built conditions
