What are the responsibilities and job description for the LATAM News /Media Partnerships Strategy & Operations position at Trilyon, Inc.?
The Strategy & Operations Lead will support the LATAM News Partnerships team (tracking OKRs, conducting QBRs, consolidating team highlights (snippets), managing agendas & running leadership team meetings, preparing Town Halls and other team communications), as well as supporting other critical processes for News Partnerships (e.g., resource allocation analysis, Top Partner exec engagement requests).
Top Daily Responsibilities:
- Drive the core operating cadence for the LATAM News Partnerships team - setting the leadership team’s weekly agenda, monitoring and reporting on OKR and operational metrics status, coordinating communications, and managing processes for the org.
- Provide strategic thought partnership to LATAM leadership team on high-priority topics and escalations, developing clear, simple, and persuasive communications to influence senior stakeholders.
- Contribute to strategic and operational priorities for the Global News Partnerships team, as needed (e.g., resource allocation analysis, Top Partner exec engagement requests).
- Drive operational excellence and efficiency - proactively identify opportunities to improve execution within LATAM News Partnerships at various levels of the org.
- Serve as the primary liaison with the Global Operations team to ensure cohesion and alignment with News Partnerships processes, policies, and best practices.
Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business, communications, etc.).
- 7-10 years of professional experience; 4-6 years of experience in a consulting, strategy, or advisory role, working with senior executives.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively and collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels in a large, heavily matrixed organization.
- Superior program management skills, including the ability to navigate ambiguity and define and execute on a path forward.
- Exceptional communication skills, with demonstrated ability to influence without authority.
- Experience developing and delivering C-level communications.
- Ability to balance multiple competing priorities to deliver the greatest impact.
- Experience with Google Workspace tools, including Google Sheets, Google Slides.
Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications:
- MBA, Master’s, or advanced degree.
- Experience in, or understanding of, the news/media industry.
- Strong critical thinking and business judgment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Results-driven self-starter with a bias toward action.
