Overview
We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in maintaining and repairing industrial machinery. As a Millwright, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our equipment, contributing to the overall productivity of our facility.

Duties

• Supervise a small team of 2 to 4 millwright on the day to day workload
• Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment in accordance with specifications and safety standards.
• Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Fabricate components as necessary to support maintenance and repair activities.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery to minimize downtime.
• Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot and repair automated systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools including ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical components. Have or the ability to obtain a LME license.
• Ability to fabricate parts as needed for repairs or upgrades.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to diagnosing issues.
• Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Military experience is valued but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
