Position Overview: We are seeking a friendly, professional Assistant General Manager to join our team. The Assistant General Manager will serve as the first point of contact for residents, tenants, visitors, and vendors, providing outstanding customer service and administrative support. This role plays a crucial part in creating a positive and welcoming environment within our condominium community.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome residents, tenants, visitors, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls as necessary.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages, including distribution and logging.
- Maintain the front desk area and lobby, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Assist residents and tenants with inquiries, requests, and service-related issues.
- Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and events as needed.
- Monitor building access and security, including issuing visitor passes and maintaining visitor logs.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and document preparation.
- Collaborate with property management, maintenance staff, and other team members to address resident and tenant needs promptly and effectively.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure a safe and secure environment for all.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in hospitality, customer service, or related fields preferred.
- Proven experience in a customer service or receptionist role, preferably in a residential or commercial property setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and welcoming demeanour.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills required.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Knowledge of property management software or systems is a plus.
- Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed.
