Warehouse/Forklift Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload products efficiently within a warehouse or distribution center. This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols and mechanical knowledge to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, including clamp trucks, to load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
• Utilize RF scanners for tracking inventory and managing stock levels.
• Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate documentation of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Build pallets for storage or shipment, ensuring proper stacking techniques to maintain product integrity.
• Conduct order picking to fulfill customer requests accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to OSHA safety standards.
• Assist with the operation of pallet jacks as needed for material handling tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and support overall warehouse operations.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role is preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Familiarity with RF scanning technology and shipping/receiving processes is advantageous.
• Experience with order picking and pallet building techniques is beneficial.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to forklift operation is required.

Pay: $18.34 - $18.90 per hour
