WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

The Grower Relations Coordinator is primarily responsible for assisting the Field Representative by ensuring objectives are achieved to meet our customer service goals.

Essential functions

Assists with seed orders and manages the process (ordering, delivery, inventory, billing, etc.)
Works with Field Rep to coordinate inbound and outbound seed deliveries
Aligns seed sales with warehouse space.
Maintains accurate inventory reports of seed
Enters contracts, performs settlements, and runs reports for the Field Representative
Assists growers with inquiries or any other issues
Helps operate off-site location during harvest by receiving trucks, directing traffic, grading beans, and loading railcars
Covers for Shipping & Receiving Coordinator when needed. Including helping truckers, loading trucks, printing tags, and ordering supplies.
Assists Quality department by inspecting trailers, getting samples from inbound trucks, and documenting quality checks.

Complies with company safety policies and maintains clean and orderly work area and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) procedures, including timely and accurate documentation of required SQF forms.
Other duties as assigned by management.

WHAT WE NEED

MUST-HAVES :

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required

A minimum of 1 years of recent office experience

Strong data entry skills

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Excellent attention to detail

Good verbal and written communication skills

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to work well with all levels of employees whether individually or in a team environment.

Effectively communicate questions, problems and reports to co-workers, supervisory and management personnel.

Flexibility to accommodate unscheduled changes in duties and work overtime as needed.

NICE-TO-HAVES :

Class A CDL

Production / Manufacturing experience preferred

Experience working in quality control in food manufacturing

WORK CONDITIONS :

Frequently (more than 75% of time) required to : stand and / or walk, use ladders and climb stairs, bend and stoop, reach, push / pull, kneel and crouch. Lift, carry and / or move items up to 50 pounds, without assistance; use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls, to verbally communicate; and to hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Frequently exposed to a non-climate-controlled environment.

Occasionally (50% of time) exposed to dust, loud noise, and heights.

Frequently (more than 75% of time) exposed to machinery and mechanical, moving parts.

Personal protective equipment, such as hearing protection, safety glasses, hair net, and food safety-related items, is required.
