TrinityRail is hiring a Senior Shipping/Receiving at our Fort Worth, TX plant.

The Senior Shipping/Receiving position is a great opportunity for a resilient, team-minded individual who does not stray away from a challenge. In this position you will perform activities related to processing, receiving, recording, storing, and/or shipping of raw materials/finished goods. Will operate mobile equipment (heavy equipment, forklift, cranes, yard vehicle, lift truck) to move materials/products between warehouse/manufacturing facilities. May utilize computer software to identify materials/goods, ensure accuracy of purchase orders and maintain inventory.
Responsibilities include:
Activities related to the receiving and shipping of materials or finished goods.
Reviews receipt of materials to ensure materials received is correct.
Ensures the security and accountability of materials.
Ensures packaged goods are loaded according to documentation and bills of lading.
Operates a forklift to move materials as required.
May use systems such as BPIC (Business Planning Inventory Control System).
Follows all safety rules and practices.
May be involved in safety committees or initiatives.
Performs other duties as assigned.
• 2 - 4 years of related experience
• Operate 15,000 pound or higher forklift system
• Comprehensive knowledge of shipping and receiving documentation and procedures
• Unloads, stages and loads shipments as requested
