Assistant Professor for Social Work for the School of Nursing and Health Professions
Salary Range: 80k to 85k

Position Description
The 12-month Social Work Faculty position (Assistant Professor – non-tenure-track) will encompass teaching social work courses such as social work, introduction to social justice, social work practice courses, social policy, field seminar courses and other courses within the candidate’s area of specialization. Additional expectations include student academic advising, supervision of student research projects, service to the School and University, and continued professional development.
Work Location: On Site (this is not a remote position)
Minimum Qualifications:
• MANDATORY Master’s degree in social work from a CSWE-accredited program;
• Minimum two years of post-master’s social work degree practice experience in social work;
• Licensure-eligible as an LCSW
• Applicants must demonstrate an aptitude for teaching undergraduates.
• Knowledge and experience working with CSWE and the accreditation process
Preferred Qualifications:
• Teaching experience with undergraduate social work students
• Experience working in an academic environment
