Job Description:
We are seeking an Area Director to join our team! This key leadership role operates under the supervision of the State Administrator and is responsible for managing the area office, ensuring seamless operations, and delivering exceptional services to the individuals we support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Training: Ensure Program Coordinators (PCs) are thoroughly trained and their performance consistently delivers high-quality services.
- Reporting: Oversee the submission of accurate and timely monthly financial and program reports.
- Program Oversight: Maintain a deep understanding of all programs and services offered to individuals served through the area office.
- Office Management: Handle the day-to-day operations of the area office, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
- Admissions & Transitions: Collaborate with Division Directors to manage program admissions and ensure timely transitions for new cases.
- Emergency Protocols: Notify Case Management and follow established protocols during emergencies, ensuring swift and appropriate responses.
- Employee Management: Partner with Division Directors to conduct employee evaluations, manage disciplinary actions, and foster a positive workplace culture.
- On-Call Responsibility: Be available to address emergencies and issues, providing timely updates to corporate leadership.
- Fiscal Accountability: Maintain accurate financial records, adhere to budget requirements, and ensure compliance with corporate guidelines.
- Support Functions: Administer and manage additional responsibilities as assigned by corporate officers or the CEO.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
- A minimum of two years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- No travel required.
