Job Title: Kitter – Machine Shop
Location: Broken Arrow, OK
Department: Machine Shop
Shift: 3:30pm-12am
Pay:$17-$19
Summary:
The Kitter is responsible for preparing and delivering materials for machine shop jobs based on work orders, drawings, and lot cards. Duties include identifying and issuing materials, cutting bar stock to size, managing inventory, and maintaining material organization. Additional tasks may include tool management within the shop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cut materials to size using band saws
- Issue and record material in the ERP system
- Maintain accurate inventory and storage practices
- Support machinists with required materials
- Receive and organize incoming materials and tooling
- Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Epicor, Oracle, D365 preferred)
- Ability to read work orders and measure materials accurately
- Strong organization, multitasking, and communication skills
- Forklift operation experience
- Physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs and perform repetitive tasks
Work Environment:
This is a safety-sensitive position involving machinery and materials handling in a manufacturing setting, requiring endurance, precision, and awareness of safety procedures.
