What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler/Forklift Operator position at Trinity Employment Specialists?
Material Handler/Forklift
Day shift Mon – Fri 7am – 3:30pm
Pay $18 - $20 depending on experience.
Must have 1 – 2 years forklift experience. Must have computer skills and the basic knowledge of excel.
- Qualified to operate all forklifts in company.
- Perform all maintenance start up and safety checks before starting the forklift.
- Follow all safety and operating and quality procedures.
- Facilitates and maintains organization of all material.
- Keep all debris picked up and cleaned from roadway and aisle ways.
- Assist Quality Assurance in control of non-conforming material and identification of non-conforming material.
- Assist production movement of material.
- Must be safety motivated, must always be aware of surroundings when moving material or material loads.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks and other material when required.
- Interact and cooperate with all fellow team members to achieve the goal of providing equipment that meets or exceeds our customers’ expectations.
- Additional functions and requirements may be assigned by supervisors as deemed appropriate.
