Plasma Operator/Burner

Pay: Starting at $18 per hour, based on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Shift: 3:30 PM – 1:30 AM (Overtime as needed)

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Burn Table Operator/Welder with experience in gas burning or plasma cutting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Burny 10 controls on Alltra cutting tables and be comfortable cutting plate up to 4"–5" thick. Forklift and overhead crane operation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Operate burn tables using Burny 10 controls
• Cut thick plate steel (up to 4"-5") using gas or plasma cutting methods
• Ensure precision and accuracy in cuts based on job specifications
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes for material handling (preferred)
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on cutting equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

• Experience with gas burning and/or plasma cutting
• Familiarity with Burny 10 controls on Alltra cutting tables
• Ability to cut thick plate steel (4"-5")
• Forklift and overhead crane experience (preferred)
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and safety
